The Founder of the Globalliance Group, Steve Farr, has worked in higher education for more than 40 years in a variety of faculty, administrative and consultant roles. As a former American college vice president responsible for admissions and financial aid, he admitted thousands of college students to include hundreds of international students as he increased college enrollment by 30% and net tuition revenue by 120%.

Mr. Farr has worked throughout the world to particularly include America, China and Russia with a wide variety and large number of universities, organizations, governments, private businesses, health care facilities and schools. He has built and directed strategic alliances, international projects and programs, sister-city relationships, cross-cultural awareness projects, and partnerships promoting global education and international friendship. His extensive global network includes work with almost 30 universities representing 5 continents, 26 countries, 25 cities with a combined population of approximately 107 million people, 801,000 students and 85,000 faculty and staff. Mr. Farr has taught undergraduate and graduate college level courses and provided training for thousands of students, business, education and government participants. He has been featured in a variety of television shows and print media to include being a guest columnist for two major newspapers in China.

Mr. Farr has served on eighteen boards of directors and trustees to include an American sister-city commission and chairmanship of one of America’s largest international festivals. His achievements include almost 30 regional and national awards; an Honorary Doctorate; University Guest Professorships; Distinguished International Faculty Awards; International and Provincial Awards in recognition of his outstanding contributions to economic and social development; and an International Ambassador and Diplomacy Advisor for a Chinese provincial health society.

Monica Zeng is an education specialist with extensive international exposure and cross-cultural communication experience. Her overseas academic experience and professional career have cultivated a global perspective and also broadened her profound understanding of diverse cultural customs worldwide. She graduated from the University of Wales in the UK, and received a professional English major education in both China and Singapore, these educational backgrounds have equipped her with a solid academic foundation and multidimensional perspectives.

Professionally, Monica has accumulated rich multilingual and multicultural work experience through her career in overseas institutions and large multinational corporations. With years of dedicated service in the education industry, she specializes in language instruction, particularly Chinese language teaching. Her exceptional strengths lie in cross-linguistic pedagogy and multicultural communication capabilities enabling effective engagement with students from diverse cultural backgrounds while igniting their passion for Chinese learning.

Monica's teaching portfolio encompasses teenagers and corporate managers across global markets. Through personalized teaching methodologies and engaging cultural insights, she facilitates rapid learning immersion. Her vibrant linguistic expressions, approachable communication style, and quick thinking constitute the cornerstone of numerous successful teaching cases, serving as vital elements that inspire students' genuine enthusiasm for Chinese language acquisition. To date, numerous Chinese language beginners have undergone remarkable and productive transformations under her mentorship.

Provides insider knowledge support to students and families on how to select and apply to universities which are a best match and offer a higher likelihood of acceptance and academic success. This process includes understanding university and geographic differences, knowing true and full costs, researching available majors, setting realistic goals which avoid agent overpromises, negotiating potential scholarships and preparing for study abroad. International students attending foreign universities also sometimes encounter challenges and need support navigating and successfully resolving issues related to studying abroad. Access to strong “trouble shooting” helps assure overall success and prevents students from withdrawing from colleges.

Business Communication and Intercultural Training

The foundation of successful business communication and negotiation recognizes and respects typical differences in communication and thinking patterns to include business mentality and how we approach challenges differently. Care must be taken to better understand cultural differences to avoid miscommunication, missteps and confusion with guidance to include advanced business language and business writing lessons.
